Amerikansk blended whiskey skall inte blandas ihop med skotsk blended. Amerikansk blended m\u00e5ste inneh\u00e5lla minst 20% rye och\/eller bourbon, resten kan vara neutral massproducerad whiskey. Resultatet blir ut\u00f6ver en billig whiskey en l\u00e4ttare och mildare sort.<\/p>\n

F\u00f6r att ytterligare komplicera det hela finns det blended bourbon och blended rye, vilket inneb\u00e4r att en straight whiskey, antingen d\u00e5 bourbon eller rye, har blandats ut med neutral sprit \u2013 som nu dock endast f\u00e5r vara max 49 procent av inneh\u00e5llet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
