Amerikansk blended whiskey skall inte blandas ihop med skotsk blended. Amerikansk blended m\u00e5ste inneh\u00e5lla minst 20% rye och\/eller bourbon, resten kan vara neutral massproducerad whiskey. Resultatet blir ut\u00f6ver en billig whiskey en l\u00e4ttare och mildare sort.<\/p>\n

F\u00f6r att ytterligare komplicera det hela finns det blended bourbon och blended rye, vilket inneb\u00e4r att en straight whiskey, antingen d\u00e5 bourbon eller rye, har blandats ut med neutral sprit – som nu dock endast f\u00e5r vara max 49 procent av inneh\u00e5llet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
